Ireland’s pharmaceutical sector has reached another important milestone as Xeolas Pharmaceuticals officially launches its new 158,000-square-foot facility in Baldoyle, Dublin. Leo McAdams, Enterprise Ireland’s Head of Advanced Manufacturing, Construction and Lifesciences, welcomed the opening and highlighted the organisation’s support for Irish companies seeking to scale internationally. He said Xeolas is developing medicines that respond to patient needs while creating and sustaining skilled employment in Ireland.
Damien Flynn described the opening as a significant company milestone, saying the facility gives Xeolas’ scientific, clinical, regulatory and commercial teams greater capacity to move products from development to commercial supply.
Products developed by Xeolas have received approval in major European markets and are marketed by commercial partners in Europe and elsewhere.
