Estimate a break using your own accommodation, daily-spending and transport assumptions, with a group total and a per-person view.
Supply your own prices
This tool does not quote hotel rates or fares. Enter travellers, nights, the total room cost per night for the group, a daily allowance per person and overall group transport. The room figure must cover all rooms your group needs.
The calculation is nights × (room cost + people × daily allowance) + transport. A two-night stay uses two daily allowances. If arrival or departure requires extra spending, add it to the transport-and-extras input or adjust your allowance.
Read the result
The total is the combined estimate. The per-person figure divides it equally. Your group might choose another arrangement for room sharing or separate activities; agree that before making non-refundable bookings.
For two people, two nights, €140 nightly room cost, €55 daily allowance per person and €80 transport, the total is €580, or €290 each. These invented inputs illustrate the formula; replace them with your own quotations and plans.
Keep extras in a separate list
Review costs outside the daily allowance: baggage, parking, tickets, transfers and equipment. Record each quotation’s source and whether the item is already paid. Avoid counting a booking twice because it appears in both an email and a bank statement.
Keep a contingency separate from the minimum estimate. Its size depends on circumstances and booking flexibility. Make it visible rather than quietly treating it as extra spending money.
Compare alternatives fairly
Save a basic version, then change one input. Compare the entire break: a cheaper room farther away can add transport costs and travel time. A simple planning sheet should make those trade-offs visible.
Check conditions directly with each provider. This calculator cannot determine refund rights, travel requirements or insurance cover. It is a budget worksheet; all arithmetic runs locally in your browser and no values go to a travel company.
