Christmas mince pies are getting a playful makeover, with M&S introducing a 2026 festive collection packed with inventive treats for every kind of food lover. From chocolate-filled alternatives for traditional mince-pie sceptics to a roast dinner pizza, the range brings plenty of conversation-starting ideas to the holiday table.
M&S Christmas collection includes a new take on mince pies
The standout launch for many shoppers is the Malt, Caramel & Milk Chocolate Cookie Pie, created as an alternative to the familiar spiced dried-fruit filling. It offers a sweeter, biscuit-inspired route for people who do not enjoy classic mince pies.
For those who like a more traditional festive flavour with a twist, M&S is also selling Amarena Cherry, Blood Orange & Port Mince Pies. The box of four is priced at €5, while the Collection 6 All Butter Mince Pies are also listed at €5.
Elsewhere, the retailer is adding a Custard Cream Spread to its Christmas selection. Inspired by the much-loved British biscuit, the smooth spread is positioned as an indulgent alternative to familiar biscuit spreads.
Festive food ideas designed to surprise guests
M&S is leaning into interactive entertaining with its Christmas Charcuter-tree. The build-your-own kit allows hosts to arrange cured meats, olives and cheeses into a festive tree-shaped centrepiece, turning a standard grazing platter into a hands-on party project.
Small bites also receive a festive upgrade. Savoury lasagna cups, priced at €10, combine pasta, beef ragu and béchamel in individual portions shaped like miniature cakes. They are designed to be easy to serve while still delivering the comforting flavours of a baked lasagne.
Another eye-catching option is the Christmas pizza: a deep-dish Detroit-style base topped with chicken, pork stuffing, bacon and cranberry sauce. It combines the convenience of takeaway food with flavours associated with Christmas dinner.
