Disability Jobs Ireland: Intreo Work and Skills Week Announces Nationwide Events

Disability jobs Ireland seekers will have a valuable opportunity to meet employers, explore training and learn about workplace supports during Intreo Disability Work and Skills Week, taking place from 19 to 23 October 2026. The Department of Social Protection is organising disability-focused job fairs and information events across the country.

The programme is designed to connect people with disabilities to employers, employment services, education providers and practical supports that can help them begin, return to or progress in work. Attendance is free for jobseekers and employers.

Disability jobs Ireland events across the country

Events will be held in every region, with activities ranging from job and training fairs to employer engagement sessions and online information meetings. Participants can meet organisations committed to inclusive recruitment, learn about vacancies and discuss career pathways with Intreo staff and support agencies.

Selected regional events

  • Eastern region: Dublin City Disability Job Fair and Workshops on 20 October, followed by the Work Your Way autism job fair in Kildare on 22 October.
  • Northern region: Employment and disability job fairs will take place in Donegal, Meath, Cavan and Louth, alongside an information session in Monaghan.
  • Southern region: Events in Kerry, Carlow and Cork will focus on inclusive hiring, disability information and pathways to employment.
  • Midlands and western region: Job and training fairs are scheduled for Roscommon, Clare, Westmeath, Galway, Mayo and Offaly.

Online sessions will also cover supports for people receiving Disability Allowance and mental health services in Wexford and Waterford, as well as workplace inclusion supports for employers in Limerick.

Intreo representatives can also explain employment pathways and inclusive recruitment approaches.
