Wyattville Link Road
A temporary 50 km/h speed limit remains on the westbound Wyattville Link Road between Cherrywood Avenue and the Cherrywood M50 southbound slip road. The restriction supports construction of the underpass for the Beckett Link Road Project and is expected to continue until 30 November 2026, or until the work finishes.
Mounttown Road Lower
A temporary one-way system continues on Mounttown Road Lower as part of the Dún Laoghaire Central Active Travel Scheme. Northbound traffic can travel between Kill Avenue and York Road, while southbound motorists must use signed diversions. The arrangement is expected to remain until the end of October.
Longer-term restrictions
- Brides Glen Road remains closed between Rathmichael Road and Mullinastill Road for watermain installation until 26 September.
- Glenamuck Road remains closed between Brambledown and the Enniskerry Road junction.

Planned utility works across south Dublin

Additional ESB cable works will take place on the R837, Stonebridge Road, Dundrum Road and Shanacoumha Cul-de-Sac Road. Drinking-water connection works are scheduled on North Avenue from 14 to 16 September and Roebuck Road from 17 to 18 September.
At Galloping Green in Stillorgan, ESB ducting linked to the Kingscroft development continues. The bus lane, cycle lane and adjacent grass verge remain closed, while the existing footpath is open to pedestrians.
Active travel and school-zone project updates
Construction continues at the Orwell Road and Braemor Park junction and at the Orwell Road and Dodder Road Lower junction as part of the Dodder Greenway – Ely’s Arch Project. Dodder Road Lower is permanently one-way westbound, and Stop/Go traffic management is planned for 15 September.
Major works at Holy Cross National School, Carysfort National School, Holy Family National School and The Harold School are substantially complete. Minor snagging remains, but only limited disruption is expected.
The council is also proposing a signal-controlled pedestrian crossing at the N11 Cornelscourt junction, including upgraded signals, footpaths, kerbs, tactile paving, road markings and signage.
